Follow the trail of the vine through some of the most picturesque plains of Nebraska. The Heart of Nebraska Wine Trail features four vineyards located along a 130-mile stretch through the beautiful Platte River Valley and Nebraska Sandhills. The vineyards are family owned and operated and offer a diverse selection of nationally and internationally acclaimed wines.
The trail is a self-guided driving tour to be enjoyed at your leisure. Some wineries charge to taste during ticketed and non-ticketed events. Other attractions include a number of unique eateries, antique shops, bed and breakfasts, parks and some of Nebraska’s greatest recreational and historical areas along the way.
Each winery offers a tasting room and gift shop, monthly events, tours, and seasonal activities including picnics, hayrack rides, and sleigh rides. Food and picnic baskets may be available for purchase during your visit to the wineries. Please check with each winery for availability, special events, and hours.
